Ticket sales are up to 75 as of today and we can still get more this coming week ......you will have to pay a gate fee of 2 dollars each and pick up tickets at pavillion if we can`t get them to you at this late date ..... One week from Saturday ..... NTDCC Picnic May 2, 2009

BBQ will be served at 1 pm at our pavillion.

Is Paul Spradlin still going to make name tags for some of us new members that have never had one before? I have not seen anything mentioned about this. I hate to ask with him so busy with other tasks.

I'm going to bring my Sizzers track and cars for everyone to play with, but we will need some D batteries for the chargers ....

Come on let's have some fun with these cars ... I can supply everything except for the batteries ......

well we have 40 tickets so far but only 20 sold

PICNIC RAFFLE DONATIONS?

Foma gave a couple chase CARS cars but nothing else received yet
We need help from everyone to make this a success
I'm still hoping for the best
I plan on giving the 4 car '57 set and the George Barris 4 car set thanks to Doug Gaunce
trading them to me
also We will be making a donation from the DFW Toy and Diecast Show (we dont know what yet)
I'll figure out something next weekend
The more tickets we can sell the more the club benefits
...

Hey gang, I could use some help for the kids that attend the picnic.

I need a bunch of the Hotwheels Custom Volkswagen Beetle's from the Heat Fleet series.

I am going to use them in a container & have a "How Many Bug's in the Container" guessing contest.

It is strictly for the Kids. The Winner who guesses the correct answer or closest to it will win a Custom of that Bug.

The rest will be utilized for our Christmas Party car at the...

STAFF CAR

I am getting a little nervous as time is growing short
for further rants from me read the post in club funds section
Now we need to decide on a staff car
John Eubanks has made a suggestion of using the '70 Camaro from the new Clover cars
the paint looks good and would take a couple decals to make it a staff car
Thats not bad if we can find enough of them I (for one) havent found any.
Any other suggestions need to be put forth asap

I know I dont post much on here and I have a question. I am involved in a local Car Club (TexasModified) also known as DFWModified. I was curious if we are able to put together a car show at the picnic? is there enough space? and how many cars are able to be parked in show form? Our club will be getting together and want to get together with other clubs to participate in family gatherings and sort. I will be the one responsible for putting together the show which would include car show...

North Texas Diecast Collectors Club 4th Annual Picnic ..........

Tenative Date : May 2nd 2009
Tenative Location : Sandy Lake Park

We will need some volunteers as usual ..... please get involved, this is a group effort to make these events happen ........... we need some more kids events to keep them busy ........ coloring contest, etc. John Ragsdale did suggest we set up a kids track ........
